Our first visit to Wisconsin was just riding through on our Great Train Adventure without ever seting foot on the ground as we traveled from La Crosse to Milwaukee and then straight south to Chicago where we change trains to ride through Illinois for our return to St Louis, Missouri.
I was getting rather exhausted by this point and do not have many photographs of this very beautiful state. We were running over three hours late and there was now no way to make our connection in Chicago. I included this one of the backside of Milwalkee to again show the areas the train passes through in urban areas and it does not fairly reflect either the city or the state. In 2014 I will return for a fall photography seminar that truly showcases the beauty of the state.
